Smoking is equally or worse for you than smoking. I wrote an article about this in AINYF here. You can use the same techniques to quit smoking that you can use for alcohol.
It’s mostly about understanding the science behind how it works, being conscious of its effects on your, and then finding a substitute for it until the physical and psychological cravings are no more.
