Hey Elizabeth, there is no ONE answer here.

For everyone, it is going to be different (fortunately or unfortunately), so I can’t give you one silver bullet answer.

That’s one of the things we focus on here at AINYF (all the different ways there is to quit), which is why we say it’s all about education and commitment to not give up.

The only thing I can suggest at the moment is to start in our section on STRATEGIES TO QUIT in which we focus on a number of different potential avenues you can take.

None of them are THE way, but just A way.

We share our specific thoughts on AA in the article “Why You Probably DON’T Need AA to Quit Drinking,” so we understand exactly where you’re coming from.

Our motto at the end of every article by the editor is “You never lose the battle until you stop fighting…” so the only sure way to eventually quit is to never stop trying to do so.
