Spring is officially upon us as the weather is getting hotter each day and the pollen is starting to attack those with allergies.

For those who may be struggling a bit with the warm weather from that desire to enjoy the sun and drink margaritas at your favorite Mexican restaurant, we shared an article this week titled 5 Things to Do INSTEAD of Drinking in the Spring to Protect Your Sobriety. I was prepared to lose a few fair-weather friends with whom I really didn’t share any major things in common, but surely the people that I really considered “my crew” would stay around?

As we close out the harsh winter months and come to the beginning of Spring, this may be coming on the 90-day mark for many of you.

Ninety days was monumental for me because it was the longest I went without alcohol TWICE to prove to myself that I could do it. I felt great about this achievement, and it gave me the confidence that I could hold to my commitment to do it longer when I came to that decision.
