Hey AINYF Community,
The beginning of month five of 2021 already and the year continues to fly past. Hopefully, everyone has continued to embrace their alcohol-conscious journey and has continued to stay committed to creating the best version of themselves.
If anyone had a little hiccup or slip-up, don’t despair. TODAY is as good of a day as any to recommit and get right back on the path to sobriety.
Speaking of sobriety, in this week’s AINYF article, we discuss why I hate how this word is used at times to describe one’s decision to stop drinking.
It’s titled Why…
“To alcohol! The cause of… and solution to… all of life’s problems”
― Matt Groening
“Sometimes what we see in our judgment to other individuals are the things that we are trying to hide.”
― Jestoni Sacay
“[Alcohol] provokes the desire, but it takes away the performance” — William Shakespeare
“Reading is essential for those who seek to rise above the ordinary.” — Jim Rohn
“One way to keep momentum going is to have constantly greater goals.” — Michael Korda
“Spring: a lovely reminder of how beautiful change can truly be.”– Anonymous
